Star Wars on DVD

fye.com All 7 Star Wars Movies Both Trilogies and The Clone Wars Only $59.99 (save more than $57) While supplies last.

I have to admit (or someone will do it for me) I am a self proclaimed Star Wars nut. Well, I’m not as nutty as I used to be since the six Star Wars films were completed. Just to give you an idea, I had a French documentary film about the Star Wars fan phenomenon dedicated to me back in the late 1990s just before the prequels came out.

But, anyway…

fye.com Star Wars Trilogy & Prequel Trilogy Get all six films for only $49.99, shipped Coupon Code: B1G1P14DVD

I’ve been seeing the Star Wars films bundled in two special DVD packs lately. One is the prequel trilogy: The Phantom Menace, Attack of the Clones, and Revenge of the Sith; the other is the original trilogy of Star Wars: A New Hope, The Empire Strikes Back, and the Return of the Jedi. I’d pick them up myself, but I’ve already got them all on VHS, LaserDisc, and several different DVD packages.  Yep, I do. Yep.

If you don’t have them, and you’re thinking about getting them, either for yourself or some else else, why not give FYE.com a try? They have a few special offers on both these sets. You can see in the pictures in this post that they offer the original trilogy and the prequel trilogy sets, either separately or in a bundle with The Clone Wars animated film from earlier this year. Yeah, I saw it. My daughter loved it.

If Star Wars isn’t your cup of tea-vee, then maybe you’ve got a favorite TV or Cable program that you’d like to collect on DVD. Then you might be interested in checking out FYE.com’s “TV on DVD; Buy One Get One Free” offer. Just jot down or copy the coupon code: P14B1G1TV, and click the image below to scoot on over to FYE and check out their selection of TV collections. Then use the coupon code at checkout to get the savings. Both the TV DVD and the Star Wars offers are good through Dec. 24, 2008.

Great Acer 22″ LCD Monitor – 5 Stars

Acer X223 WBD

Acer X223 WBD

I just got an email from TigerDirect for savings on a flat-panel LCD  monitor. Yesterday’s offerings were great, but this one is on the highly regarded Acer X223Wbd 22″ Widescreen LCD Monitor.

If you’re looking to switch to a large widescreen computer monitor but you’re on a tight budget then take a look at this large and stylish monitor with its 22-inch viewing screen.  It also has a digital interface (DVI) for entertainment enjoyment and work efficiency. It will work well at home and in the office.  For you gamers and video viewers out there, it has a 1680 x 1050 maximum resolution and 2500:1 contrast ratio for fantastic picture quality. Here’s what some buyers have had to say about the Acer X223 WBD:

acer-reviews

The Acer X Series LCD monitors have a splendid combination of uncompromising performance and outstanding value. Its sleek silver/black color scheme, softly contoured bezel, and sturdy base depict a classy, functional design that’ll look great on your desktop.

I just bought a 19″ monitor this week, and I’m an considering sending it back and ordering the Acer X223 WBD in its place. Now is a great time to order since today is the last day for TigerDirect’s $1.99 shipping offer. By the way, the Acer X223 WBD is currently selling for $160.  That’s a savings of $40 on TigerDirect’s regular price.

Those of you who are unfamiliar with PayPal, PayPal is an eBay company. It allows people to send and receive money online. There’s no fee to open an account, and it costs nothing to send money or have it transferred to your U.S. bank account.

PayPal is the safer, easier way to pay and get paid online. The service allows anyone to pay in any way they prefer, including through credit cards, bank accounts, buyer credit or account balances, without sharing financial information.
PayPal has quickly become a global leader in online payment solutions with more than 164 million accounts worldwide. Available in 190 markets and 17 currencies around the world, PayPal enables global ecommerce by making payments possible across different locations, currencies, and languages.

PayPal has received more than 20 awards for excellence from the internet industry and the business community -most recently the 2006 Webby Award for Best Financial Services Site and the 2006 Webby People’s Voice Award for Best Financial Services Site.

Located in San Jose, California, PayPal was founded in 1998 and was acquired by eBay in 2002.

PayPal also offers debit and credit cards which are connected to your PayPal account. They also have a money market that allows you to collect interest on your PayPal balance.  If you use the PayPal debit card you can also get 1.5% cash back on certain purchases. I particularly like to use my PayPal debit card to pay for gas, groceries, and general household items at CVS stores.  It’s always handy to get cash back on these everyday needs.
