Windows XP
Service Pack 3 (SP3) was released on May 6, 2008. Windows XP SP3
includes previously released Windows XP updates,
including security updates, enhancements, and hot fixes.
Windows XP SP3 is intended only for
use on Microsoft Windows XP computers. You must already
have Windows XP installed on your PC to use this disk.

Microsoft released Windows Vista
Service Pack 2 (SP2) on May 25, 2009. Windows Vista
SP1
includes previously released Windows Vista updates,
including security updates, enhancements, and hot fixes.
Windows Vista SP1 is intended only for
use on Microsoft Windows Vista computers. You must
already have Windows Vista installed on your PC to use
this disk.

These updates can be downloaded for
free at the
Microsoft Windows Update web site. Broadband
Internet Users (Cable, DSL, Satellite, or Fiber Optic)
can download them in less than 30 minutes, but dial-up
Internet users may experience download times lasting 3
hours to several days.
